GAYPU Group acquires land holdings to initiate a major expansion

GAYPU Group has purchased a plot of land of 60.000 m² in the PLHUS industrial park, in Huesca. The signing ceremony has taken place on July 31st, in the city council of Huesca, witnessed by its mayor, Ana Alós. Jesús Andreu signed on behalf of the Government of Aragón, and Roberto Garzo did it as Managing Director of GAYPU Group.
The acquisition of this plot of land represents the foundation stone of an ambitious expansion Plan, which will lead the company to increase its capacities, both qualitatively and quantitatively.

6 million euros will be invested within the first phase, and a plant of 9.000 m² will be built on this plot of land. UP LIFTING, S.A., the company within the GAYPU Group dedicated to the manufacture and sale of heavy lifting machinery, will occupy the new plant, while the metal components will be still supplied by the current production center of the GAYPU Group, located in the Sepes industrial park, in Huesca. This phase of the expansion Plan is scheduled for completion by August 2015.

At the end of this Strategic Plan, developed by the company in successive phases, the new plant will cover an area of 30.000 m², and all the steps involved in the manufacturing process will be integrated in the same facilities.

This Plan main aim is to enable the company to improve its customer service, for both national and international customers.
